The S.W.A.T. (Spiritual Warfare And Tactics) Team was a Christian-based, Seattle street outreach group active in the late 80′s. It was founded by Johnny Johnson (click link for website) and Mike Mayer (click link for e-mail).

UPDATE (10/2011): Currently, founder Johnny Johnson, has started up a new chapter of the S.W.A.T. Team in the Walla Walla area. There is some limited information about this on the History page of this site. For detailed, up-to-date information on what’s going on with S.W.A.T., please contact Johnny directly.

The video (originally recorded on standard VHS), is now available as a FREE online download from this website! This video (completed in 1989) features the full documentary about the S.W.A.T. Team as it existed during those years; helping kids on Broadway and the University district of Seattle find an escape from the streets, hope for a second chance, and a new life knowing Jesus Christ.

This page is posted as a tribute to all the friends those of us who were members of the S.W.A.T. team made down on the streets and to anyone who was involved then and remembers.
